Favorite expense tracking app, but not perfect
This has been my go to expense/mileage tracker for going on three years and is the only expense/mileage tracking app I have found that has the level of customization I need. Other apps only give you the ability to "live track" your miles or want you to enter your starting/ending odometer reading to calculate miles. Neither of which work for the reporting requirements of my company. Xpense tracker works for me because I can enter my starting/ending address and it calculates the mileage for the shortest route (which is how my company requires). I could take the route that is 50 miles and takes an hour or a 40 mile route that due to traffic would take me 1.5 hrs and my company would only reimburse for the 40 mile route. Xpense tracker does this but also includes starting/ending odometer and auto tracking capabilities. Up until this last update I could always count on Xpense Tracker calculating the mileage correctly and wouldnt even need to double check it. After the update I need to check google maps for the mileage and manually enter into Xpense Tracker. Not sure if there is just an error or if the dev is trying to push users into paying for the new auto tracker feature. Another con, in the nearly 3 yrs Ive used the app the UI has barely changed. Im a big believer in if it isnt broke dont fix it, but the app is starting to look a little dated.
