Fabulous app!

This app has finally enabled me to track and maintain expense records. It is incredibly practical and empowering to be able to have something so useful. I suppose I need to see how well I can get the info into usable form for taxes at the end of the year, but so far it has been super easy to use and modify. I have recommended it to friends who also love it, and when it comes to numbers, if I can use this app, anyone can!

Effectively replaces Pocket Quicken, but Quicken import is broken

I have 300+ apps and dont proactively rate them. Im taking the time to rate this one though because it works so well. I used Pocket Quicken on Palm Pilots for many years before switching to an iPod Touch. Last year, I discovered XpenseTracker. It took a little time to enter the categories and subcategories that I use into the app, but once I did that, it has provided me with a quick and easy way to capture my cash transactions to enter into Quicken. The product has worked well with no issues for me and has fully met my expectations. Update March 2016: reduced to two stars until quicken import bug is fixed.

Great!!

So far, so good. Really helping me stay on track.

XpensexTracker keepin me on Track

This is a great APP ... Im not techie person .. But use for mileage, expenses, photo of receipts ... I can print out the monthly totals! Likely I can do even more -- but would recommend!

Quick and Easy!

Love this app. Its quick and easy to post expenses. Many categories to choose from. Print expense reports with a PDF of related photo receipts. Used to take hours to organize my receipts and fill out expense reports, now I have them done in minutes.

Self Employed Financial Services

So far this app is fantastic! As stated previously by others before me, this app makes it easy to keep track of your mileage and expenses and take pictures of your receipts.

Organized

Its easy to keep track of your expenses.

Very useful for recording income and expenses

I purchased it to track expenses for a small business and have found it easy to use and indispensable.

Same user

I have to buy the sync if I want my phone and iPad to have the same information Overall it is a good way to keep track

Favorite expense tracking app, but not perfect

This has been my go to expense/mileage tracker for going on three years and is the only expense/mileage tracking app I have found that has the level of customization I need. Other apps only give you the ability to "live track" your miles or want you to enter your starting/ending odometer reading to calculate miles. Neither of which work for the reporting requirements of my company. Xpense tracker works for me because I can enter my starting/ending address and it calculates the mileage for the shortest route (which is how my company requires). I could take the route that is 50 miles and takes an hour or a 40 mile route that due to traffic would take me 1.5 hrs and my company would only reimburse for the 40 mile route. Xpense tracker does this but also includes starting/ending odometer and auto tracking capabilities. Up until this last update I could always count on Xpense Tracker calculating the mileage correctly and wouldnt even need to double check it. After the update I need to check google maps for the mileage and manually enter into Xpense Tracker. Not sure if there is just an error or if the dev is trying to push users into paying for the new auto tracker feature. Another con, in the nearly 3 yrs Ive used the app the UI has barely changed. Im a big believer in if it isnt broke dont fix it, but the app is starting to look a little dated.

Great App!

Its so easy to use and manipulate. Incredibly helpful!

Great app

Love this app. Great for tracking expenses and having a record for IRS and tax time.

Best expense tracker

This app is easy to use and does what I need without being overly complicated.

Great app and great developer

Great app, does everything I need and more. The developer is also very helpful. I had a question and I emailed him in the off chance he would respond (based on past history with other apps this has been my experience) and he was helping me at 9:30 at night! The app is amazing and the developer supports its 100%. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent App

Keeps everything in one place. Easy to record information an extremely helpful reporting monthly expenses. Great at tax time too!

Requires Subscription to Auto Track

Requires paid Subscription to Auto Track which everyone seems to forget to mention in their raving reviews just an FYI for those looking for auto tracking capabilities

Elegant simplicity

This app is simple to use and intuitive. Tracks all my expenses quickly and easily. Effortlessly backs up all my data so losing information is not a worry. Love this app and would recommend it to anyone!

A very easy Expense Tracking App

At about two weeks in I am already more organized than I was before. It is easy to customize and use. So far I really like it.

Are you serious! Dont be fooled!!!

This is one of the worse expense tracker app. I wish there was a free trial instead of wasting $5. So many problems with this app: 1. User interface is extremely deficient and not user-friendly. You have to search and type your log. It is not well organized. 2. You have to pay for the OCR (which is fine) but it doesnt pull any information. I used a crisp receipt with large font, in a well-lit room. Are you kidding? I dont care if it takes an hour to retrieve information but be functional. It is absolutely useless! I wish you could minimize the categories list. Best feature is that you dont have to pay for a subscription. So far the best expense tracker app is Itemize. However, their subscription plan is outrageous for someone who uses the app sparingly. If you want a free expense app Helloreceipts will do the job. The OCR is extremely slow but highly accurate.
